Brainpower Boost: Neuralink Chip Promises

A Mind Meld with Machines: Neuralink Implants the Future of Human-AI Interaction? Hold onto your thoughts, because Elon Musk's Neuralink just took a monumental leap! They've successfully implanted a chip in a human brain (brain on steriods😆), potentially opening a direct communication channel between humans and artificial intelligence. This could revolutionize the way we interact with machines, blurring the lines between humans and computers. Neuralink envisions a future where this wireless brain-computer interface (BCI) tackles neurological disorders and unlocks cognitive superpowers. Imagine controlling devices, accessing information, or even communicating telepathically using just your thoughts! Sounds like science fiction, but the chip, with its thin electrodes recording and stimulating brain activity, might make it a reality. However, before we dive headfirst into this mind meld with machines, we must acknowledge the potential risks lurking in the shadows. Brain surgery,

Iphone Hack

Chinese hackers break into iPhone 13 Pro in 15 seconds Some of the best hackers in China get a chance to show off their skills at the Tianfu Cup organised in Chengdu, China, every year. This year too, the competition saw some crazy hacking skills that surprised many technology firms such as Apple. For instance, hackers were able to hack the newly launched iPhone 13 Pro running on iOS 15.0.2 in record time. Not once, but twice.  One of the teams was Kunlun Lab which was successful in breaking into the iPhone 13 Pro in under 15 seconds. Kunlun Lab’s CEO is the former CTO of Qihoo 360. The team exploited a vulnerability in the Safari browser to hack the smartphone.   The CEO hacked the smartphone live in front of everyone in a mere 15 seconds. He, however, undertook weeks of preparation before attempting the hack. As of now, the hacking group didn’t reveal how it was able to hack the smartphone.  Kunlun Lab was not the only team to hack the iPhone 13 Pro, with the other team being Team

Apple Transfers Chinese Users' iCloud Data to State-Controlled Data Centers

There's terrible news for Apple users in China. Apple's Chinese data center partner has transferred iCloud data, belonging to 130 million China-based users, to a cloud storage service managed by a state-owned mobile telecom provider—raising concerns about privacy. Back in February this year,  Apple moved the encryption keys  and data of its Chinese iCloud users from its US servers to local servers on Chinese soil to comply with the new  regulation of the Chinese government , despite concerns from human rights activists.

Cryptocurrencies expects the worst nightmare

The Bigger Cryptocurrencies Get, the Worse They Perform: BIS Cryptocurrencies are not scalable and are more likely to suffer a breakdown in trust and efficiency the greater the number of people using them, the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) said on Sunday in its latest warning about the rise of virtual currencies. For any form of money to work across large networks it requires trust in the stability of its value and in its ability to scale efficiently, the BIS, an umbrella group for the world's central banks, said in its annual report. But trust can disappear instantly because of the fragility of the decentralised networks on which cryptocurrencies depend, the BIS said. Those networks are also prone to congestion the bigger they become, according to the BIS, which noted the high transaction fees of the best-known digital currency, Bitcoin, and the limited number of transactions per second they can handle. "Trust can evaporate at any time because of t
