The Apple vison Pro!!

Apple's VR Headset: A Dive into Immersion and Its Quirks

Imagine a pair of glasses that not only show you the world but also blend digital content seamlessly into your physical space. That's Apple Vision Pro in a nutshell! Think of it as a supercharged emphasis on the charged as it's a pricey version of augmented reality (AR) out there, taking things beyond simple overlays and into a whole new way of interacting with the world around you.

Apple's foray into VR has stirred the tech world, with the Vision Pro promising a new level of immersion. But does it deliver? Lets and see if it truly lives up to its "Pro" name.

Pros:

Immersive Fidelity: The micro-OLED display boasts stunning visuals, eliminating the screen door effect and offering vivid colors.

Seamless Placement & Space: Unlike bulky headsets, Vision Pro blends seamlessly into your surroundings, thanks to its sleek design and passthrough technology.

Intuitive Controls: Eye tracking and hand gestures provide natural and reactive interaction, eliminating the need for controllers.

Spatial Audio: Immerse yourself in 3D sound, enhancing the feeling of being transported to another world.

Apple Ecosystem: Enjoy seamless integration with your other Apple devices for a unified experience

Cons:

Weight & Comfort: Despite its sleek design, the headset's weight can cause discomfort during extended use. The headband design also receives mixed reviews as the two-loop headband is preferred for along term use.

Limited App Selection: As a first-generation product, the app library is still under development.

Battery Life: Expect moderate usage time compared to other VR headsets.

Pricey:  Be prepared for a hefty price tag, as this is cutting-edge technology.

Eye-Tracking & Foveated Rendering:

This innovative feature renders sharp visuals where you're looking while keeping peripheral areas slightly blurry. While it reduces processing load and potentially improves battery life, opinions differ on its visual impact. Some like MKBHD prefer the wider field of view offered by competitors like META QUEST MIXED REALITY HEADSET.

First-Gen Potential:

While it has its limitations, remember this is Apple's first "Pro" product in the VR arena. With future iterations, we can expect improvements in comfort, battery life, and app selection.

Apple Vision Pro offers an undeniably immersive experience with innovative features. However, its weight, price, and limited app library might deter some users. If you're an early adopter seeking cutting-edge tech, it's worth considering. But if comfort, affordability, and a wider app selection are priorities, you might want to wait for future iterations.

Supercomputer Can Calculate in 1 Second What Would Take You 6 Billion Years

It's shiny, fast and ultrapowerful. But it's not the latest Alpha Romeo. A physics laboratory in Tennessee just unveiled Summit, likely to be named the world's speediest and smartest supercomputer. Perhaps most exciting for the U.S.? It's faster than China's. Hot 100 smartphones The supercomputer — which fills a server room the size of two tennis courts — can spit out answers to 200 quadrillion (or 200 with 15 zeros) calculations per second, or 200 petaflops, according to Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where the supercomputer resides. "If every person on Earth completed one calculation per second, it would take the world population 305 days to do what Summit can do in 1 second," according to an ORNL statement. Put another way, if one person were to run the calculations, hypothetically, it would take 2.3 trillion days, or 6.35 billion years.
