Things to consider before buying the new Macbook Pro 2018 (pros/cons)

This are what to consider before buying the new Macbook pro 2018 (pros/cons)

The first thing am picking is the cons of this laptops because i believe A
pple has always offer the best.

Cons on the Apple Mackbook Pro 2018

  • Price Tag : This is a super expensive laptop that may break the bank for some people. This is just too expensive for a regular configuration except the newly used c.p.u ( intel core i9 )
  • Chassis: This is the frame of the laptop which I can say absorbs the heat from it going out to the outer part of the computer, but this is not a thing for the intel core i9 used in this laptop which heats up a lot more than expected which leads to throttling in the laptop

  • Thermal Throttling: The intel core i9 C.P.U used in this year Apple laptop is an unlocked 39-45˚c as said by a you-tuber (Dave Lee)  which comes to a conclusion that it’s not built by professionals, and it makes it feels like all the power in the core i9 is wasted by the cooling device. With Apples reputation this is not so good, because a lot of people that purchase this laptop will not be aware of the laptop throttle this far.
  • Rendering:  I can say that lots or most you-tubers, photographers, Students, use Mac either for editing videos, photos, or just casual stuffs or even gaming. And neither is it the best laptop for gaming or rendering. According to a test by "Dave Lee (D2D)" there's no changes in rendering time of the old Mac and the 2018 core i9 Mac under normal conditions even the old 2017 Mac has a shot time in rendering. When the rendering was done the 2nd time in a fridge it scores better than the 2017 Mac, but up against the areo 15x is out of league for it.
A rendered time compared with other laptops for a 5.5m clip
  • Gaming: There is a little improvement from last year’s Mac G.P.U which is a good thing, with a G.P.U named Readon pro 560x. To run some games smoothly you have to run bootcamp as stated by (D2D) or us an external G.P.U. In conclusion to the bad side, the laptop is not the thing for heavy Gamer, but good enough for normal gaming.
In conclusion this has been said to be a software fixable issue which has been worked on by Apple.

Pros on the Apple  Macbook Pro 2018

  • Good Screen: This device has a very good screen with good colors and contrasts, also a good brightness at up to 500nits. It has a special upgrade to a true tone with ambient sensor which changes the screen colors and properties according to the surrounding light. This is not a deal breaker but very good for students and photographers because of it’s abilities  adjust color temperature and make it easier on the eyes.
  • Very Good Drive: This laptop comes with a 2TB of SSD with up to 3.2gb/s ssd read speed, which is a good thing  i.e you can save and open things at a very fast rate evn copying things is not a problem here.

Good & Fast Ram: This laptop comes with a whooping “32gb ddr4 ram” which is kinda power consuming but thanks to the battery built for the laptop power is not a problem.

Good Battery Life: this laptop comes with a v.good battery which is split into 6 parts on the inside. It is tested to last up to 8 hours

  • Touchbar: The Touch Bar replaces the function keys that have long occupied the top of your keyboard with something much more versatile and capable.15 It changes automatically based on what you’re doing to show you relevant tools that are intuitive to use — system controls like volume and brightness, interactive ways to adjust or browse through content, and intelligent typing features like emoji and predictive text, just to name a few. Tap it. Hold it. Flick it. Slide it. Familiar gestures make it easy to use the Touch Bar. Tap to expand the Control Strip, flick to adjust volume and brightness, or slide to rewind while watching a movie.
  • Processor: A very powerful C.P.U is used in the 2018 Mac, the best intel has to offer “A Core i9 C.P.U” which runs atv a 2.9ghz at average with a 6 core which scores a 5551 for single core and 4798 for multi core on a geekbench test. It is a new and powerful C.P.U which can handle anything you throw at it.
  • Security: This laptop comes with a new chip from apple which they call the “Apple T2 Chip” which is custom Mac silicon designed by Apple themselves. What are the functions of this newly implemented chip you may ask? Yes it’s for security but let shuffle things out. It provide the foundation of secure boot so your laptop log on security can never be override, which also allows the use of a fingerprint reader, and it’s a good thing Apple implemented this in their new laptop. Talking of the chip it also encrypts storage capabilities with the fast ssd used in the laptop. It is said to control all the basic and advance functions just to ensure maximum security. Thanks to the new fingerprint reader you do not have to type passwords anymore, with your finger you can quickly access system settings and locked notes or even switch between users.

All Controller controls all your consoles

Am here to introduce to you the All controller for all standard game consoles... Remember the third party controller your sibling/cousin/friend made you use when you visited his or her house in the NES days? Remember the pain you felt when the joystick wasn’t quite right and they were hosing you on Mortal Kombat while you were busy trying to figure out why your character kept kicking? Well the  All Controller isn’t like that at all. The All Controller is a third party project that, in theory, can be used on any console. You can set up macros and speed buttons and connect to the Xbox, the PS4, or the Switch. It also has a 40 hour battery and can connect to PCs. “Connecting to consoles will be as easy as plugging in the custom USB adapter,” write the creators. “This device will allow the ALL Controller to connect to the XBox 360, XBox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Added support for Nintendo Wii, WiiU and Switch will be added as well. On top of that, the USB adapter will h

Supercomputer Can Calculate in 1 Second What Would Take You 6 Billion Years

It's shiny, fast and ultrapowerful. But it's not the latest Alpha Romeo. A physics laboratory in Tennessee just unveiled Summit, likely to be named the world's speediest and smartest supercomputer. Perhaps most exciting for the U.S.? It's faster than China's. Hot 100 smartphones The supercomputer — which fills a server room the size of two tennis courts — can spit out answers to 200 quadrillion (or 200 with 15 zeros) calculations per second, or 200 petaflops, according to Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where the supercomputer resides. "If every person on Earth completed one calculation per second, it would take the world population 305 days to do what Summit can do in 1 second," according to an ORNL statement. Put another way, if one person were to run the calculations, hypothetically, it would take 2.3 trillion days, or 6.35 billion years.
